Joshua Waguespack enlisted in the U.S. Army at seventeen. He deployed to Mosul, Iraq as an Infantry Team Leader with the 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division. He later served as a Squad Leader with the 4th Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment during a deployment to Afghanistan, where he was wounded in action. He was awarded the Purple Heart and completed his service as a Staff Sergeant.
After leaving the Army, Joshua founded Stryker Security LLC — his first Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, specializing in federal security operations. That experience taught him how to build a company from scratch and how to win federal contracts. He went on to direct a $900K multi-county operations program in partnership with regional hospital systems before moving into federal project management — where he managed multiple projects within the $100M Trueblood Settlement compliance program, establishing governance frameworks and achieving 100% compliance across his portfolio. He led engagements spanning IT modernization, ERP integration, and multimillion-dollar government contracts, consistently delivering under budget and ahead of schedule.
